Key Information

Safe Capacity Level

We have now welcomed back children from our Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 classes while still providing provision for our key workers children and vulnerable children. We have now reached our safe capacity level in line with social distancing guidelines and are therefore unable to welcome back any other year groups at this time.  We are waiting for official government and local authority guidance in relation to the new term starting in September.  As soon as we have any news we will be in contact with you all via the website, text message and twitter.

Thank you all for your patience at this time.

Take care and stay safe.

Reception and Year 1 Return to School

From Monday 29th June we will be welcoming back our Reception and Year 1 Children.  This has now been confirmed by the Local Authority.  As we welcome back the children, the following timings and conditions have been put in place in conjunction with the schools Risk Assessment (https://primarysite-prod-sorted.s3.amazonaws.com/st-nicholas-liverpool/UploadedDocument/9da5f451664e4f62a83a17dd8374df18/st-nicholas-ra-covid-19-june-2020.pdf)

The school will still be open for Year 6 children, Key Workers children and Vulnerable Children.  Due to the different groups in school, we will be operating staggered drop off and pick up times.

  • The children will enter and leave the school via the exit door to the Reception Classroom.  Please pick up your child / children from this door and adhere to the 2m social distancing rule.  Please pick up your child / children and leave the school, avoiding any loitering or socialising on the yard.

We know the guidance can seem intimidating, but pupil and staff safety is always in the forefront of any decisions we have made leading up to the wider opening of the school.  We are really looking forward to seeing more of our pupils back in school and we hope to welcome back more as soon as we can.
