At 10.30am we go outside to play in our lovely outdoor area. Activities outside are changed and enhanced each week and include: water play, throwing and catching with balls and bean bags, building with large wooden construction, riding bikes and scooters.

At 11.10am The children wash their hands ready for lunch/snack time. During this time before lunch/ snack time we focus on either Maths, Rhyme time or Story time.

11.30am We all go the the lunch hall together and those children going home choose a snack whilst they wait for parents. Children staying all day will join reception for a hot meal or have their own packed lunch.

Reading

Reading is a vital part of a child's development. It helps with children's communication and language development, their literacy skills as well as their social skills. We recommend that you read with your child daily! This could be a fun, relaxing part of your bedtime routine.
