Update Week 6

I would like to start by saying a big THANK YOU! to all the children and their families for making me feel so welcome during my first week back! I have had a wonderful week getting to know the lovely Reception children. We have had fun exploring the Julia Donaldson story 'Room on the Broom'. The children have done a fantastic job of retelling the story! I have also enjoyed looking for shapes around the school.

I cannot wait for another great week in Reception again next week.

Thanks everyone!

This week we have started "The Big Friday Draw" the children can earn "Golden Tickets" for being extra super. Two of these tickets will them be drawn out of the box on a Friday to see who wins a prize. Don't forget Mrs Kayflowers returns from maternity on Monday and Miss Hatcher will be starting to teach year1. It has been a pleasure and a privilege getting to know you all and be a part of your child's school journey. I will only in another part of school so don't forget to wave as you walk across the yard and see me. Thank you for all the continued support and the support you provide your child.

EYFS Lending Library

In the coming weeks we will be setting up our Early Years Lending Library.Children will be able to take home a book to read and share with a grown up. They will be able to chose one book on a Monday and it will need to be returned on the Thursday. If books are not returned on a Thursday children will be unable to select a new book the following Monday.

Please ensure that all coats, jumpers and cardigans are labelled with children's name on.

Also for the time being, please do not allow children to bring in toys from home. We are trying to limit the number of items travelling to and from school.
