We are missing you all a lot and can't wait to see you when we are able to go back to school. First we would like to thank you, not only, to any key worker parents we have, but to all parents who have taken time out to visit our website.
Try and keep as busy as possible, but we are all too aware that it is a stressful time and we are not expecting anything from you, just do what you feel you can. We hope you are able to get outside (safely) and enjoy some of the lovely weather we have been having. Why not make a den this week? Work as a family team and find things around the house cushions, sheets, chairs ect, you could read some stories, enjoy a DVD or use it to make some shadows with torches. You could do a quiz as a family? Make up some questions for your parents and see if they know the answer. Most of all have some fun, we know its a stressful and anxious time but you won't get this time back with your child and having fun often leads to learning.
Don't forget we are available to twitter if you need anything.

School Closures !
Hello everyone, a week into isolation and we hope you are all safe and well !
Last week Miss Hatcher was in school looking after the children of key workers, we had a lovely week! We made rainbow sun catchers using greaseproof paper and tissue paper, we made cards for local NHS workers and people in the local community who might be feeling lonely, we made some "Stay Safe" posters, we did lots of painting and chalking outside, we had some down time watching our favourite cartoons (this is important too as children will pick up on the anxiety) and we enjoyed lots of lovely stories.
We hope you are enjoying your home learning packs. Just a reminder please read with your child daily. There are lots of fantastic links to companies offering free e-books on the english part of this website.
If you are struggling for any ideas there are great Instagram and Youtube educators. One the children already love is MrMac - he has lots of brilliant phonics ideas. It is extremely important to keep learning where possible. He has a youtube account and is on Instagram. Miss_mcmillan_ has some great ideas using a "book of the week", she also has some great game which you can adapt and play.
There are lots of companies offering free sign up - twinkl (code - UKTWINKLHELPS), tpet and phonics play (the children already love this) are just a few.
YouTube are also offering some great "lives" - Joe Wicks PE daily 9-9.30am and spread the happiness are doing daily dough disco at 9.30am and 1pm (the children love this).
I have uploaded some documents - 1 being links to different useful websites and another is 100 activities to do inside. Don't heaitste to get in touch over twitter if you need anything.
Stay safe and keep busy. We are missing all the children lots.
