Year 5 are taught by Mrs Craig with Miss Carpenter to support us in our learning.


We are a friendly bunch of children who love to have fun while we are learning!

School Closures 2020 There are home learning packs ready and waiting for every child in Year 5. Please pick them up from school when you can. I have also attached some guidance for home learning below. Please take care of yourselves and we hope to see you soon. Mrs Craig

Y5 got robbed... (not really, #anythingforwriting)

As the introduction to Y5's topic of journalistic writing, the classroom was ransacked to make it look like a robbery had taken place. The children were outraged. This was the perfect hook into the topic which is allowing the children to become mini-reporters.

The Highwayman

Y5 visit the Joey the War Horse.

A big congratulations to Y5 who have helped our school achieve the Fair Aware School Award in relation to Fair Trade.

Well done to our first Rockstars of the Week - Minnah, Batool, Rahaf, Yusra, Jay and Hannah! Keep up the good work.

Y5 have had fun exploring our local area through maps.

Y5 are Zero Heroes!

24.6.19: Y5 have had a very educational workshop with CAFOD today, we extended our learning about the issues impacting on our environment. We have decided to become Zero Heroes!
